All of the rains we’ve experienced this summer unfortunately lead to water in our basement. The primary cause of our problem was a faulty gutter design in which water drained into a flat area in our backyard, which then leaked seeped into our basement window wells and eventually into our basement. In addition to our gutter problem, there was also a year’s worth of leaves, shingle grit and branches which had accumulated in our gutters and had clogged the primary downspouts.

The guys from All Eastern Iowa Gutter came to our home, evaluated our situation and provided us with a design idea and quote to solve our problem Well, the rain has continued to pour this summer and we have not had one single water problem since.

In addition, we elected to also install OxMesh on our gutters as well. I was skeptical at first, but knowing I have a family and young kids who depend on me, the last thing I want to do is risk potential injury while working from a ladder to clean out my gutters. Thanks to OxMesh our gutters have remained clean and water flow has been completely unobstructed.

They responded in a timely manner when I asked them for a quote and came out to the house to take a look at the job. Their price beat the competitor by a large enough margin that I called the competitor to cancel their second visit to complete their quote. The work was well done and the final installation looks great. The only complaints I had were that I had a new cedar deck that had not been treated and had asked them to be careful. They did not cover the deck and they tracked dirt all over it. The salesperson was very apologetic and had the guys clean it up as best they could, though I spent more time than they did cleaning it again before I treated it. They also left a section of old gutter in the flower bed, probably an oversight on their part.
